2015

  • Development and planning for a third Golden Elite Deco Center showroom in Laval, QC, giving Golden Elite full coverage of the Montréal metropolitan area
  • Further development of European partnership with KronoPol and Stevens-Omni, through the introduction of European made Golden Elite laminate flooring; again falling under MGA’s strict product quality control

2014

  • Forged a partnership with European flooring giants Kronotex and Stevens Omni, placing their high-end products in all Golden Elite Deco Center showrooms
  • Moved warehouse, operations and showroom from Dorval, QC to Dollard‐des Ormeaux, QC for the purpose of more storage space and more chic showroom
  • Opened the second Golden Elite Deco Centre in St Hubert, QC
  • Further development of Golden Elite and Supexbond product lines, including Ultra-Solid Hardwood and a state-of-the-art self-adhesive flooring membrane

2013

  • Became one of the leading North American wood product importers
  • Increased the number of flooring types to more than 350 items
  • Developed complete kitchen program, including importation and distribution

2012

  • Opened the first Golden Elite Deco Centre, a retail store in Dorval, Qc
  • Launched imports of glass mosaic tile

2010-2011

  • Launched production and imports of bathroom vanities
  • Further development of the SupexBond brand to include vapor barrier membranes for engineered click and laminate flooring

2005-2009

  • Development of a full line of flooring: solid hardwood, engineered, laminate and vinyl
  • Planned, developed and launched SupexBond brand engineered flooring adhesive

2004

  • Started importing Golden Elite branded wood doors to North American big box retailers

2003

  • Launched production of hardwood flooring
  • Launched production of interior wood doors
  • Began importing doors and door components for North American door producers including Masonite, a global leader in design and manufacturing of interior and exterior doors

2002

  • Expanded into the production phase through the purchase of a flooring manufacturing mill in Quebec
  • Launched production of flooring from local and imported raw materials under the Golden Elite brand
  • “Elite” signifies Canadian highest quality standard
  • Golden Elite branding established. “Golden” for the company’s unique ability to offer its’ clients superior product at an affordable price by controlling the entire production chain, “Elite” for the highest Canadian quality standard

2001

  • Developed value-oriented product chain and launched plywood imports

2000

  • Developed a vertically integrated wood division from raw material to production, logistics and distribution
  • Established relations with leading financial institutions such as HSBC, BDC, TD Canada Trust and others for business development
  • Opened offices in New Zealand (Auckland), Brazil (Sao Paolo), Russia (Moscow), Ukraine (Kiev) and Ivory Cost (Abidjan)
  • Launched exports of Canadian and Russian wood products – wood log and lumber – to manufacturers of flooring, doors, plywood, furniture and kitchens

1999

  • Developed imports to the North American market
  • Became Canada’s 3rd largest importer of steel products such as steel coils, reinforced bars, wire rods and others
  • Organized steel product imports from Russia, India, Taiwan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and others to the leading tube manufacturers and steel service centers such as Nova Steel, Mac Steel, Atlas Tube, Welded Tube of Canada and others

1998

  • On September 15th this team established a wood and steel trading company in Montreal
